Jim Paterson and his wife Elizabeth started Redwells Joinery from their garage in Kinglassie, Fife in 1988.  Soon afterwards, they moved the business to a manufacturing unit in Whitehill, Glenrothes.  As the company grew from strength to strength, in 1990 the team were joined by Jim and Elizabeths daughter – Sandra Paterson who managed orders and overseen the workshop. After 18 months, the business expanded again and relocated to larger premises in Southfield Industrial Estate, Glenrothes where Redwells currently trade from today. Unfortunately, Jim passed away in October 2022 after working right up to July that year.  Sandra now runs the business along with a fantastic team of 10 staff, some of whom have been with us for over 20 years. We work closely with many people including house builders, architects, and domestic customers to offer a full range of bespoke joinery products as well as doorsets for the new-build industry. We take pride in being a family run, independent business, with state-of-the-art machinery and we enjoy serving our customers (big or small) to the very best of our ability.
